Literally translated Sankofa means
"it is not taboo to go back and fetch what you forgot"

Adults have forgotten the importance of just having FUN!
As adults we are busy striving for success, achieving wealth, raising families, caring for parents,  supporting our communities…and while must be commended…

Know that you are worthy, entitled and encouraged, to have FUN!

The Sanklofa Fun Club was developed to create a vehicle for like minded adults to do just that. No special agenda, no cause to support, no ulterior motive, Just Pure Fun! Sankofa Fun Club is a membership based club with events for Members and Non Member alike.

  • SFC members excursions like sporting events, spa days, wine tasting, cooking excursions, Crusies and SFC Annual Members Appreciation Celebrations.

  • Be sure to visit our gallery of events where Members can post their events on our website.
  • Monthly drawing for prizes, memberships, coupons and free tickets to various events
  • Sankofa Fun Club Social network where you can chat, share photos, blog with other club members you met during your various excursions with SFC.
  • Online store for SFC products and will support products from Members of SFC.

and 15-20 additional people would show up.  It became so regular that at one event my brother jokingly said, “Oh Valerie’s trying to start her Fun Ministry on the low!”  Really I was just networking.  Later I thought… why not, I‘m doing it anyway.
